Saving Sergeant Rex

For those of you who don’t read my Clouds blog

Seems I can only reblog once – and on a reblog from a different site, you lose the original. So either go over to Clouds or to Phil’s post.

  1. I would agree with you in general about petitions. There was however a petition on the 10 Downing Street website against “by the mile road pricing”, signed by over a million people and which crashed the No 10 site several times. Road pricing in the UK has gone very quiet.

    • :D Love it!

I think it depends what the issue is. This is a totally emotive one – Marines, serving staff, a heroic dog – and it’s gong to be killed???? When there is a home for it??? The US Marines are on a no-win here – it’s not exactly a complex strategic piece of ground-breaking legislation we are talking about here, they just need to back down gracefully and let the marine home the dog.
