Olive paté (1) – black



One tin black olives (cost 67p compared with one small jar of pate at 3.60€)
Some olive oil
Some cloves of garlic
A slice or two of lemon

Whizz up in batidora until desired consistency
Chill in fridge

    • I’m guessing you like your dairy fix more than I do, but I can imagine it would be good. A bit like I suggested using with the mushroom paté.

      But these are such easy things to knock together, inexpensive, extremely healthy, and very tasty. I’ll spend hours cooking curries, but I’ll spend a few minutes whizzing something like this together.
